Who We Are
Climate resilience begins in our communities
FORCE was incorporated on 20 October 2023 as a company limited by guarantee under Ghana’s Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). We work with communities, researchers, civil society groups and other stakeholders to build resilience to climate change and make sure no community is left behind.
Climate change hits farming households, women, young people and rural communities hardest. Climate equity means they get the knowledge, a voice and a share of the solutions.

What We Do
01.
— Public climate education
We educate the public on climate change resilience through community talks, school outreach and practical guidance on adapting to changing weather, farming conditions and water supply.
02.
— Research on climate and environment
We help conduct research into the effects of climate change on the environment, so local decisions rest on local evidence.
03.
— Ambassadors of nature
We protect the environment in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, including tree planting, clean-ups and the protection of forests, rivers and farmland.
04.
—Youth and community empowerment
We empower young people and local communities with knowledge, skills and opportunities to take meaningful action on climate change, environmental protection and sustainable development.
05.
— Climate-smart livelihoods
We promote climate-smart farming, sustainable livelihoods and practical solutions that help individuals and communities adapt to climate change while improving their economic well-being.
06.
—Partnerships
We form partnerships with civil society organisations and other stakeholders on climate and environment, so that our efforts add up to more than the sum of their parts.
